We are proud to announce that Ilkley RFC has now received full planning permission from Bradford MDC to build our new Community Clubhouse.
We are now optimistic that our external funders, namely Sport England, the RFU, Bradford Council and Ilkley Parish Council will submit the various amounts of money that they have individually promised.

Fund Raising Project

25th August. The Club has now exceeded its £2000 target. £2050 has now been raised from the sale of old mobile phones to Angel Telecom in Bradford and there are still more coming through the system. A big thank you to all those who have contributed.

The proposed schedule is set out below, however the actual construction of our Community Clubhouse will not start until all the external funding is in place.

Tenders will be sent out at the end of April 2010
The successful contractor will be appointed early July 2010
The project will kick off on site early August 2010
Completion of Clubhouse is scheduled for the end of May 2011

The total figure for the project including pre construction expenditure, construction costs, fitting out costs, professional fees and contingencies is circa £1,450,000 + VAT.

Ilkley RFC has very nearly reached its £850,000 fund raising target. The balance of circa £600,000 will hopefully be donated by Sport England, the RFU, Bradford Council and Ilkley Parish Council.

A huge and genuine thank you to all Club members and Corporate organisations who have made welcome contributions to the development fund, and a massive vote of thanks and congratulations to the hard working Club members who have organised and taken part in fund raising activities to make all this possible.
The commitment and financial support to the Club has, and continues to be, absolutely fantastic.

The Club has reached its Buy-A-Brick £30,000 target, and there is an additional £500 of pledges still to be paid.
