IRFC Safeguarding Officer (Phil Little) is looking to recruit at “Joint” or Assistant” Club Safeguarding Officer.
The role involves supporting the Senior and Junior Section in all Safeguarding matters.
Specific duties involves leading on all Safeguarding matters at IRFC promoting a culture of Safeguarding, ensuring compliance with all RFU and IRFC Safeguarding policies, together with completing the applications for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for all relevant persons.
Training for the role takes the form of online courses, remote workshops and face to face courses.

Any volunteer will need to be:
Over 18 years of age.
Be approachable, reliable, and able to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
Have good communication and organisational skills
